Novel Bioinspired Optimization Techniques for Resilience and Sustainability

BIO4RES GOES ONLINE!

Welcome to Bio4Res website. This site is devoted to provide the lastest news regarding the Bio4Res project, whose aim is the study on the confluence of bioinspired algorithms with resilience and sustainability.

This project revolves around the idea of resilience, both as a sought property in the design and operation of bioinspired optimization methods, and as a property of systems of interest to be attained or boosted via the application of said methods. Herewith, resilience denotes a system’s ability to rebound, namely to withstand shocks in a dynamic way and bounce back to good operational conditions in an efficient way.

Bio4Res is funded by the Ministerio de Ciencia e Innovación (Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation) with code PID2021-125184NB-I00, and will run from 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2025.
